Ali Gibson holds a Masters in English Literature from the University of Ottawa. After graduation, Ali taught business English at a private business college and then moved into editing in the medical field.
She spent three years copy editing medical and scientific journals before switching to editing in the telecommunications industry.
While employed full time at these jobs, Ali worked in the evenings at a variety of contract editing projects, from government policy papers to novels.
She has also volunteered her skills to a number of not-for-profit organization newsletters.
Ali lives near Ottawa with her husband and two sons.
